ARC EXTINCTION STRUCTURES FOR CIRCUIT BREAKER AND ELECTRIC SWITCH HAVING ARC-MAGNETIC OPERATING MODE

PURPOSE: Arc extinction structures for a circuit breaker and an electric switch having arc-magnetic operating mode is provided to reduce the load on an operator by simplifying the extinguishing part and downsize the product. CONSTITUTION: Arc extinction structures comprise a fixed member(110), a movable member(120) and an insulating cover(130). The fixed member(110) comprises flat plates(111,112) with a fixed main contact(111c) and a fixed arc contact(112c), respectively, and a pair of hook-shaped inserting parts(113a,113b). The movable member(120) is adjacent to the fixed member(110) for the hinge-like switch operation between the hook-shaped inserting parts(113a,113b), and has a movable main contact and a movable arc contact which contact with the fixed main contact(111c) and the fixed arc contact(112c), respectively. The insulating cover prevents an electric current caused by a contact between the fixed member and the movable member.
