摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transflective liquid crystal display device which has image characteristics improved by forming the boundary between a reflection part and a transmission part of a transflective color filter in a position shifted from the boundary in a transflective part of a lower substrate by a certain extent conforming to tolerance for sticking and by maintaining transmittances and color reproducibilities in two modes in certain levels even in the case of the occurrence of alignment error in a sticking stage of upper and lower substrates. SOLUTION: The transflective liquid crystal display device having the reflection part and the transmission part includes first and second substrates facing each other, a pixel electrode which is formed on the inside surface of the second substrate and has a first boundary line between the reflection part and the transmission part, the transflective color filter which is formed on the inside surface of the first substrate and has a second boundary line between the reflection part and the transmission part, which does not coincide with the vertical upper or lower position of the first boundary line of the pixel electrode and is separated from it by a certain distance within a tolerance range for sticking, and of which the transmittance in the reflection part is higher than that in the transmission part, a common electrode formed on the transflective color filter, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the pixel electrode and the common electrode.
