PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant paper cup for use in a microwave oven which can be formed by a paper cup former and does not cause phenomena such as bubbling or melting, even if heated contents are put in or contents are put in the paper cup and heated to cook in the microwave oven or an oven. SOLUTION: The paper cup for use in a microwave oven includes a barrel and a bottom and can be heated to cook in the microwave oven with contents received. The barrel and the bottom comprise a material of a laminate with a base layer of paper and an innermost layer of a polypropylene resin. A melt index (MI) value of the polypropylene resin is in a range of 15 to 60. In addition, a barrier layer can be provided between the base layer and the innermost layer.
