PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact weight sensor and its manufacturing method capable of easily and inexpensively obtaining an airtight structure and a sealed structure. SOLUTION: A movable electrode 3 and an elastic member 2 are connected by an insulating member 25. A fixed electrode 5, the movable electrode 3 and the elastic member 2 are mounted on a sealed main body 1, and both the electrodes 3, 5 are arranged opposite to each other. Then, the elastic member 2 is integrated into an opening section 9 formed in the sealed main body 1 so as to be in a sealed state. The weight acting on the elastic member 2 is detected on the basis of the capacitance that varies according to the change of the distance between the electrodes.
