PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding material having fine moldability and processability, and excellent heat resistance, mechanical characteristics and electric characteristics. SOLUTION: Diamine and maleic acid and/or maleic acid anhydride is added in the sum amount of 15-500 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of a filler having insulating property selected from an oxide, a hydroxide, a carbonate, a sulfate, silica, talc, mica, a glass fiber, an aramide fiber, a wood powder, pulp and rubber powder. Proportions constituting the above sum amount are adjusted to 0.7-1.3 for the molar ratio of maleic acid and/or maleic acid anhydride. Diamine and maleic acid are mixed uniformly (in the combination of diamine and maleic acid anhydride, they are also mixed uniformly), successively heated at 40-100 deg.C for 20 minutes-3 hours to react, added by a filler and stirred at 80-200 deg.C.
