PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair-dressing agent composition having both of excellent set-retainability and good feeling. SOLUTION: This hair-dressing agent composition contains a component (A) of a primary amine (salt)-containing polyvinyl alcohol represented by general formula (1) (wherein, m/n is a ratio of moles and within the range of (99.9/0.1)-(91/9); A is -NH2 or -NH3 <+> X<-> ; X<-> is a monovalent organic anion or inorganic anion), and a component (B) of a partially or completely neutralized salt of a cross-linked type carboxyvinyl polymer.
