PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding cassette capable of causing a predetermined clearance between an inner wall of the cassette regulating a tip of a paper sheet and a tail guide regulating a paper sheet when mounting the paper feeding cassette on a device main body. SOLUTION: A projection 15 provided on a slide block 17 is provided so as to slide for a pedestal part 12, and an energizing member 18 is provided between the slide block 17 and the pedestal part 12. When the projection 15 of the slide block 17 is engaged with a channel 16 of the cassette 4, the pedestal part 12 is returned in the direction of arrow mark F by an energizing force of the energizing member 18 to cause the predetermined clearance 32 between a rear end of paper sheet and a guide face 13a.
