PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and certainly remove a winding habit from a synthetic resin film having the winding habit. SOLUTION: The correction device is equipped with correction means 4, 5 and 8 arranged on a supply passage for drawing out the wound synthetic resin film 2 to supply the same and heating the synthetic resin film 2 to a specific temperature while holding the same to flatten the heated film and cooling means 4, 5 and 6 for cooling the synthetic resin film 2 from the correction means while holding the flatness thereof.
