ACARID-CONTROLLING RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acarid-controlling resin composition effectively exhibiting the activity of an acarid-controlling agent and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The acarid-controlling resin composition comprises 2-(2,6- difluorophenyl)-4-(2-ethoxy-4-tert-butylphenyl)-2-oxazoline contained in a low melting resin. The method for manufacturing the acarid-controlling resin composition comprises melting and kneading 2-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-4-(2-ethoxy-4-tert- butylphenyl)-2-oxazoline and the low melting resin together at a temperature in the range from the melting point of the resin to the melting point +50 deg.C.
