PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of a product by forming a tapered part in the outside surface of an edge and thinning the thickness of the lower part of the edge. SOLUTION: This grinding wheel edge structure for coring is provided with a cylindrical edge 4 suspended from the lower surface 2a of a base part 2 and cutting a glass disk from, at least, a glass pane 10 by the edge 4 rotating along with the front base part 2. This edge 4 is formed with the tapered part 4a having a shape gradually thinning its thickness toward the lower part, in its outside surface.
