The present invention discloses a remote control system which can control operation of an apparatus even at a remote distance using a mobile communication terminal. According to the remote control system can control operation of an apparatus even at a remote distance using a mobile communication terminal. Since a current state and a control result state of the controlled apparatus are transmitted to the mobile communication terminal of the user, the user can cope effectively with the abnormal operation of the controlled apparatus when operation of the controlled apparatus is abnormal. Therefore, a better home automation can be achieved.
