The invention relates to a wind-energy farm (1) comprising a plurality of wind-energy turbines (2), which are connected to electric generators (12), whose electric output voltages are supplied to an interconnected network (18). In known wind-energy farm systems (1), the electric networks are entirely or partially configured in a tree and/or ring structure. The electric lines (8, 15, 21 and 23) are dimensioned according to the maximum current of all generators (12) and are thus over-dimensioned. The inventive wind-energy farm is sub-divided into rectangular or hexagonal areas (3, 5), which are combined into segments (4, 6) with a star-shaped structure. A respective wind-energy turbine (2) is installed at the centre of said areas (3, 5). The a.c. voltages supplied by the generators (12) of the segments (4, 6) are converted into d.c. voltages and are fed via a common line for high-voltage d.c. transmission (15) to an inverter (16), which is connected to a network link point of an interconnected network (18). The a.c. voltage outputs of all generators (12) of each segment (4, 6) can also be connected to a transformer (10). If this is the case, all transformers (10) of all segments (4, 6) are connected to a rectifier (13), whose output voltage is fed via a line for high-voltage d.c. transmission (15) to an inverter (16), which is connected to a network link point of an interconnected network (18). |
