The nonwoven (1) is consolidated through stitches (2) and features a pile layer (7), which is formed out of fibre parts (6) that project vertically to the nonwoven cross section. The fibre parts have a high density and are parallel and equally tall across the whole surface. One or both ends of the parts is/are bound into the nonwoven mechanically.
