The mechanical model for presentation of a chaotic system has a stand base comprising a heavy steel baseplate, whose weight is so calculated that it absorbs occurring centrifugal forces. A metal bar and three rotatable pendulous metal bars are provided, the metal bar being screwed to the baseplate. The two kinds of bars are so connected with each other that the three pendulous arms are freely movable around the common axis formed by the metal bar. At the ends and in the center the pendulous arms are circularly thickened, in order to accommodate fixture threads and two centrally located flange ball bearings. The ball bearings are spaced apart by a distance disk.
