PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for fixing a refractory sheet to a resin fuel tank suitable for mass production by utilizing the ultrasonic welding. SOLUTION: In the structure for fixing the refractory sheet 2 to cover a required part of an outer surface of the resin fuel tank 1 to the fuel tank, the refractory sheet 2 manufactured by mixing a carbon fiber 4 and a resin 3 is arranged on the fuel tank 1, and subjected to the ultrasonic welding to fix the refractory sheet to the fuel tank.
