PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively, easily and efficiently package a freeze-dried product in a safely and surely sealed state. SOLUTION: Many storage recesses (2) are provided in a synthetic resin sheet in a recessed manner, so that a tray (1) for freeze-drying can be formed. An object to be freeze-dried is housed in each of the storage recesses (2), and freeze-dried after being frozen. After that, the tray (1) is separated among the storage recesses (2), and formed into a separate packaging container (8) in which a flange part (7) is provided at a peripheral edge (6) of an opening of the storage recess (2). Hermetic packaging is conducted for formation into a pillow-type package in a state in which the freeze-dried product (3) is housed in the packaging container (8).
