PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chisel that can be used easily for a use like line carving with the line carving chisel and that can keep excellent cutting sharpness for a long time. SOLUTION: The surface edge of a front edge 1 is contacting entirely with a grinding face 9 and is slid in parallel with the grinding face 9 by keeping an inclined position of the longitudinal direction. Then a blade 4 in the inclined position is shifted laterally by a half of the front edge lateral width and is twisted left or right around the longitudinal direction axis center 1. The blade 4 is slid in parallel with the grinding face 9 with keeping the rotated position where the surface edge of slanting edges 2, 3 is contacting entirely with the grinding face 9. |
