PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmitting substance to be heated capable of reliably transmitting to the user side information on a set temperature and time, suitable for cooking, and information on the optimum heating program, which the producer and seller side have, and also to provide a signal receiving device. SOLUTION: The signal transmitting substance to be heated is provided with a part to be heated by receiving an electromagnetic wave, and a signal generating part to transmit various kinds of signals following the increase in temperature of the heated part. A signal receiving device receives various kinds of signals from the signal generating part.
