PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable thrust transfer rod for a railroad, which rarely suffers failures such as a variation in length, and can greatly reduce a load of track inspection work for track maintenance. SOLUTION: Characteristrically, this thrust transfer rod for the railroad comprises: a rod in which an external thread part is formed at least one end; a joint member in which paired coupling arms, whose front ends are equipped with coupling pin inserting holes orthogonal to the direction of a thrust axis, are provided forward from right and left ends of a base part, which is provided with a rod through-hole; a sleeve member whose outside diameter is small enough for the sleeve member to be slidably fitted and inserted into the rod through-hole, in which a flange part is provided protrusively in a position of a front end, in which a polygonal prism-shaped surface is formed outside a rear half part, and in which an internal thread part, into which the external thread part is screwed, is provided in an inside surface; a nut member having an inside surface, which can be attached, in a covering state, to the polygonal prism-shaped surface of the sleeve member in an axially slidable manner, and a polygonal prism-shaped outside surface; and a lock nut having an internal thread part into which the external thread part is screwed.
