<p>A rotary fluid machine comprising a rotor rotatably received in a casing, a hollow rotary shaft (113) rotatable integrally with the rotor, and a fixed shaft (102) relatively rotatably fitted to the inner periphery of the rotary shaft (113), wherein the fixed shaft (102) is floatably supported in the casing through a fixed shaft support spring (95) having an aligning action. When the rotative deflection of the rotor is transmitted to the fixed shaft (102) through the rotary shaft (113), the aligning action of the fixed shaft support spring (95) suppresses the rotative deflection of the rotor, thus making it possible to effectively avoid an increase in the friction resistance or the generation of abnormal wear in the slide portions of the rotary shaft (113) and fixed shaft (102), and to reduce the leakage of vapor from a rotary valve (V) installed in the slide surfaces of the rotary shaft (113) and fixed shaft (102).</p> |
