CONTROL DEVICE OF HEATER OF EXHAUST GAS SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a heater of an exhaust gas sensor capable of preventing damaging of a sensor element of a linear air-fuel ratio sensor due to existence of dew water attached on the sensor element. SOLUTION: In this control device, the exhaust gas sensor element and the heater for heating the sensor element are arranged. The device has a means for estimating outside air temperature around an exhaust pipe of an engine and controls temperature of the heater or the sensor element according to the estimated outside air temperature.
