<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the generation of pumping-up sound in discharging the drain water to reduce the noise. SOLUTION: A water level detecting sensor is mounted for detecting a water level in a drain water tray of an air-conditioner, and the operation of the drain pump is started when an upper water level is detected. On the other hand, when a lower water level determined at a lower part with respect to the upper water level is detected by the water level detecting sensor after the operation of the drain pump, only the operation of the drain pump is controlled to be stopped, whereby a drain water suction hole of the drain pump is constantly sunk in the drain water by a predetermined amount, and only the drain water is pumped up, which prevents the drain water from being mixed with the air, and reduces the noise in pumping-up the drain water.</p> |
