PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply and a surface potential detecting device reduced in size. SOLUTION: Input coils Np1 to Np3 of conversion transformers T10 to T30 are electrically connected to each other. A switching means 39 simultaneously interrupt current flowing through the respective input coils Np1 to Np3 of the conversion transformers T10 to T30. Rectifying smooth circuits 35, 38 are respectively connected to the output coils Ns1 to Ns4, Nh1, thereby rectifying and smoothing the alternating current generated in the output coils Ns1 to Ns4, Nh1.
