PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractable hook apparatus which can prevent the occurrence of hitting noises. SOLUTION: The retractable hook apparatus comprises a hook case 1 having a storage chamber 2 inside, a hook member 3 pivoted on the hook case 1 and is moved to a storage position where the hook member is stored in the storage chamber 2, and to a use position where the hook member is projected out from the storage chamber 2, and a spring 5 applying energy to the hook member 3 to make it swing in the direction of the using position. Either of the hook case 1 or the hook member 3 is provided with a position regulating part 11 for regulating the sidewise move of the hook member 3. Also, either of the hook case 1 or the hook member 3 is provided with an integrally formed first projection 8a, and either of the hook case 1 or the hook member 3 which is not provided with the first projection is provided with an integrally formed second projection 13, which is pressed to engage with the first projection 8a in the use position of the hook member 3. Further, a tapered guide surface is formed on either of the first projection 8a or the second projection 13 for guiding the first projection 8a and the second projection 13 to make them pressed and engaged with each other.
