PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a tool change in a short time in a simple and compact constitution in which a plurality of tools can be accommodated and no relay device is required. SOLUTION: A tool magazine 4 is composed of a plurality of holding part connecting bodies 8a-8e comprising a plurality of tool holding parts 30 connected in a line, a frame mechanism 43 for disposing one of the holding part connecting body 8a at tool change position 40 opposed to a change arm 5 and the rest of the holding part connecting bodies 8b-8e are disposed at a standby position away from the change arm 5, a replacing mechanism 44 for replacing the holding part connecting body 8a at the tool change position 40 with either of the holding part connecting bodies 8b-8e, and a positioning mechanism 45 for positioning one tool holding part 30 of the holding part connecting body 8a at the tool change position 40 on the turning locus of the change arm 5.
