<p>According to the invention a system and method for controlling room temperature is provided wherein a set-point value for the temperature of a room is set. The temperature of a heating and/or cooling medium, i.e. the flow temperature, is determined and utilized by a control system to change the set-point value. Due to the changing of the set-point value, the controlling of the temperature is less influenced by thermal delay inertia which otherwise can cause the room temperature to rise to a value far beyond the set-point value. The invention is in particularly concerned with temperature control in buildings with a central heating or cooling installation.</p> |
