The long-gap roller press (1), to extract water from a web material in a press gap between a rotating counter roller and a long-gap press roller, has a press shoe for a flexible mantle (2) at the press gap. The rotating end walls (3) at the carrier are clamped with sealing with a clamping ring (9), as an elastic expanding ring (5) with a cylindrical outer surface (6), which is pressed radially against an outer ring (19) to clamp an end section (4) of the roller mantle. A sealing ring (24), in one piece of an elastomer material e.g. rubber, is next to the clamping ring at each end wall, which has a radial distortion against the outer ring by pressing an axial section of the roller mantle end section against the outer ring. The clamping ring is set by screw bolts (13), and screw bolts (30) hold the outer ring.
