PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activating process, a valuable substance producing method having an activating apparatus and the system thereof capable of easily producing an activated carbonized substance by carrying out an activating treatment by a simple system without needing special new energy and capable of selecting varieties responding to demand fluctuation and simultaneously producing many varieties. SOLUTION: The system comprising a carbonizing unit 5 producing carbonized substance and thermally decomposed gas from organic waste such as sludge or other by indirect heating supplied from an exterior covering side, a slug granular material producing unit 10 producing slug granular material incinerating and melting the above carbonized substance with the thermally decomposed gas and primary air, a secondary combustion chamber 13 producing combustion exhaust gas introducing the primary air or secondary air, if needed into the thermally decomposed gas after incinerating and melting and the activating unit 7 producing high adsorbing property activated carbonized substance subjecting the combustion exhaust gas obtained from the secondary combustion chamber the carbonized substance taken out from the above carbonizing unit to the activating treatment, wherein the system comprising a selectively delivering section in which the supply of the carbonized substance to the slug granular material producing unit and the activating unit is carried out selectively or parallely. |
