摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording material having good blank glossiness, ink absorbability, guillotine cut end damage resistance and scratch resistance. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording material wherein at least one ink receiving layer containing inorganic fine particles and a hydrophilic binder and a protective layer containing colloidal silica are provided on a support, colloidal silica (A) with a mean primary particle size of 30-60 nm and colloidal silica (B) with a mean primary particle size of 60-100 nm are mixed to be used as colloidal silica of the protective layer.
