PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair-coloring matter having good pigment dispersion, and exhibiting good performances in good balance in each of a power for covering the hair, feeling, and friction and water resistances relating to color transfer. SOLUTION: This hair-coloring matter contains at least a pigment and an amino-modified polyether-modified silicone. Preferably, the amino-modified polyether-modified silicone is a block copolymer of a silicone and an amino- polyalkylene oxide, or Silsoft of a brand name of Witco Corp., and 0.1-15 wt.% amino-modified polyether-modified silicone is formulated therewith.
