PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the rotational friction between a spring seat and a collar with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: Related to the support structure for a suspension spring 25 of a hydraulic shock absorber 10, two spring seats 51 and 52 are interposed between the suspension spring 25 and the collar 53 while end faces 51A and 52A on the press-sag sides are overlapped together, so that the spring seat 51 on the suspension spring side and the spring seat 52 on the collar side rotate relatively to each other.
