PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device for a water closet, which can directly discharge a malodor from the water closet into a drain pipe for human waste, and can prevent the malodor from the drain pipe from flowing backward, even if a deodorizing fan is stopped. SOLUTION: To suck in the malodor in a bowl part of a water closet body and transfer the malodor to the drain pipe for the human waste, this deodorizing device for the water closet is fitted with a deodorizing pipe, the deodorizing fan which is installed midway through the deodorizing pipe, and a check valve which is located between an opening of the bowl part and the deodorizing fan so as to allow the malodor to be transferred only in a direction from the opening to the drain pipe.
