PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet in which a spout is inserted into and the looseness of the spout rotatably mounted therein is suppressed. SOLUTION: The faucet is a type of a spout in which the spout is inserted into a faucet body with a slip washer and is rotatably disposed with respect to the faucet body. The slip washer is provided with a plurality of protruded ribs on the periphery thereof. The plurality of the ribs on the periphery of the slip washer collapse corresponding to the diameter of the faucet body and the diameter of the spout when the faucet is assembled. So that the inner and outer peripheries of an axis into which the spot are fitted are securely fixed and the spout is prevented from being inclined, namely, the spout is made free from the looseness, and the spout having good operability and quality is available.
