PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber treating agent composition for imparting comfortable warm or cold sense effects during wearing or using by a simple treatment such as coating or spraying when the textile product is worn or used. SOLUTION: This fiber treating agent composition is obtained by applying a compound having a change in enthalpy within the range of <=-0.05 KJ/g or >=0.1 KJ/g when brought into contact with water so as to raise or lower the temperature of the textile product by >=0.5 deg.C to the textile product. Exothermic actions or temperature lowering actions on the textile product are appealed.
