PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for tying sash in which ornamental tying can readily and beautifully be carried out by herself without damaging sash. SOLUTION: This auxiliary tool 100 for tying sash is equipped with a member which serves as a triple string and is obtained by providing a first engaging member 21 and a second engaging member 22 superposed on and attached to the first engaging member in the longitudinal direction of the upper part of the surface center part of a plate member 11 and further attaching a string member 24 in the nearly center part of the second engaging member 22.
