PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligner which is capable of aligning and placing anodes used for electrolytic refining on a conveyor without deforming the same as far as possible. SOLUTION: The aligner 1 for aligning the anodes (a) used for electrolytic refining at equal intervals in parallel is arranged with a pair of freely rotatable rollers 4 on both sides of the conveyor 3 in a place where the anodes (a) are transferred on the conveyor 3 from a feeder 2. The rollers 4 are arranged upper than the conveyance surface of the conveyor 3 and has a revolving shaft 26 in a direction approximately parallel to the conveyance direction of the conveyor 3. The spacing between the inside surfaces of the rollers 4 are set slightly longer than the width of the lugs of the anodes (a).
