<p>The invention aims at providing recording materials which have high sensitivity of color development and are excellent in shelf stability of non-image areas and images, particularly resistances thereof to oil and plasticizer. Recording materials containing color-forming dyes, characterized by containing at least one member selected from among diphenyl sulfone crosslinking type compounds represented by the general formula (I): (I) and at least one member selected from among benzoate compounds represented by the general formula (II) or (III): (II) [wherein R8 is halogeno, C1-6 alkyl, C2-6 alkenyl, or C1-6 alkoxy; and R9 is hydroxyl, halogeno, C1-6 alkyl, C2-6 alkenyl, or C1-6 alkoxy] (III) [wherein R10 is halogeno, C1-6 alkyl, C2-6 alkenyl, or C1-6 alkoxy; and R11 and R12 are each independently hydroxyl, halogeno, C1-6 alkyl, C2-6 alkenyl, or C1-6 alkoxy].</p> |
