PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of efficiently performing an operation even when a spool region of a recording medium is full with a plurality of printing jobs. SOLUTION: This printer comprises a spool job size comparing means 15 for retrieving a job having a large size in the spool region when the spool region is in the full condition and a job eliminating means 16 for eliminating the job retrieved by the spool job size comparing means 15. The printing job having a large size is eliminated on an as-needed basis so that a subsequent job can be spooled. |
