PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purifier which materializes a high durability and regeneration ratio by suppressing the dispersing phenomenon of alkali metal and alkaline earth metal, and by preventing deterioration of decrease action of the combustion starting temperature of a particulate. SOLUTION: While a carrier 2 of the DPF 1 is made of silicon carbide, potassium carbonate (K2 CO3 ) is carried on the carrier 2 as a catalyst layer 4. Heat generated during combustion of a particulate is discharged to improve local temperature rise by the carrier 2 made up of silicon carbide with high conductivity, thereby suppressing dispersing phenomenon of potassium carbonate caused by the temperature rise. |
