PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flashing device capable of obtaining optimum exposure in accordance with the size of an object and the position of the object, etc. SOLUTION: An electronic flashing device 16 is constituted of a light emitting tube 54 for emitting illuminating light, a reflector 56 for reflecting the light emitted from the light emitting tube 54 toward the object, a liquid crystal panel 58 for changing the transmissivity of the illuminating light, and a projecting lens 60 for projecting the illuminating light dimmed by the liquid crystal panel to the object. In the case the object stands at a close distance, the transmissivity of the liquid crystal positioned corresponding to the shape of the object is reduced in order to dim the light to be projected to the object, and also, the projecting lens 60 is moved so that the focal position of the projected light may coincide with the object. Then, the optimum exposure is obtained, irrespective of the position and the shape of the object. |
