PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is provided with an icon display part and a dot matrix display part and is miniaturized. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device 23, a back light 24 is provided at the rear side of a liquid crystal display panel in which a pair of substrates are arranged so as to face each other through a liquid crystal layer 15 to form a display area, and a dot matrix display part 3 and an icon display part 4 are provided in the display area of the liquid crystal display panel, and a driving IC 7 for the dot matrix display part and the icon display part is mounted on the rear side of the liquid crystal display panel corresponding to the icon display part 4. The icon display part 4 adopts a reflection display system, and the dot matrix display part 3 adopts a semi-transmissive display system. |
