<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper handling device that has low cost and high productivity, and largely saves a space. SOLUTION: This paper handling device comprises a stapling tray F that has a side stitching stapler S1 and a saddle stitching stapler S2 and is tiltingly disposed so that the upstream side in the conveying direction is downward and the downstream side in the conveying direction is upward, a conveying passage D for conveying paper to the stapling tray F, a folding plate 74 and its driving mechanism that are disposed under the stapling tray F and intermediately fold paper or a paper bundle, and an intermediately folding tray G for conveying the paper or the paper bundle from the stapling tray F to an intermediately folding position by the folding plate 74 and holding it. The conveying passage D conveys the paper from the upper part to the lower part of the device and conveys the paper to the stapling tray F, and the stapling tray F guides the paper conveyed from the lower part to the upper part and conveys the paper to intermediately folding tray G, namely from the upper part to the lower part.</p> |
