<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method where a part of a batch, or a part of a molten glass containing a different composition or that containing foams does not reach an outlet of the molten glass. SOLUTION: A measure is taken to guide a flow of molten glass in a melting bath so as to hinder a shortcut of its flow between the surface of molten glass at one side and the opening of an outlet at the other side and attain a sufficient retention time for all molten particles throughout in the melting bath.</p> |
