PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for detecting a position of a moving body not affected by sun light, a weather and the like, enhanced in position detecting precision, reduced in a facility cost, and capable of coping easily with expansion of a moving range for the moving body. SOLUTION: In this position detecting system for the moving body wherein a plurality of ID tags 3, 3 are arranged with a fixed interval along a moving route of the moving body 1 to detect the position by reading the ID tags 3, 3 using a plurality of readers 4 provided in the moving body, the plurality of readers 4, 4 are provided in the moving body 1, and the spacing between the ID tags 3, 3 is made different from that between the plurality of readers 4, 4. |
