PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve still accuracy when presetting reproduction by storing position information of pan/tilt and the picture (registered position picture) of a pertinent position, processing a picture taken in a position moved when presetting reproduction and the registered position picture, detecting shift quantity and controlling the driving of a pan head in a direction where the shift is reduced. SOLUTION: When the instruction of presetting reproduction is inputted by the depression of a presetting key, the pan head 10 is controlled based on registered position information and a camera 40 moves to pan/tilt positions on designation. A picture (reproduced position picture) photographed in the reproduction position is taken in and it is compared with the beforehand registered position picture. The reproduced position picture and the registered position picture are processed by using a picture processing processor 63. Thus, the shift quantity of both pictures is detected. A control signal for correcting the position of the pan head 10 is generated based on shift quantity, and the stop position of the pan head 10 is corrected.
