PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the opening/closing speed appropriate without depending on product dimensions and the like in an accordion door automatically closable or openable by an urging means. SOLUTION: In this accordion door, an accordion door body is formed by arranging decorative covering members before and behind an expandable hinge, and the accordion door body is suspended and supported by a runner travelable in a rail and made openable/closable by allowing the runner to travel in the rail. The runner 12 is constituted to automatically travel in a direction of closing the accordion door by a tension spring. The runner 12 is provided with a brake 66. Only when the runner 12 automatically travels in the closing direction, the brake 66 is operated to slow down the travel speed of the runner 12.
