PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for inexpensively mounting a curtain wall by using an inexpensive metal material such as a steel plate, without using a wooden mullion having too large a cross section, even in a high opening. SOLUTION: Holes 23, through which pins 24 are passed, are premade in the wooden mullion 21 and the steel plate 22 at prescribed intervals; the steel plate 22 is mounted on a building frame; a slit is made in an indoor-side surface of the wooden mullion 21 in the direction of a long axis; the wooden mullion 21 is mounted so that the steel plate 22 can be inserted into the slit; after that, the pins 24 are passed through the wooden mullion 21 and the steel plate 22; and the wooden mullion 21 is tightly bound to the steel plate 22 which is mounted on a building.
