PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure feed apparatus in which a sensor for starting the operation of a pressure feed apparatus is prevented from adhering to filths or the like and hence erroneous operation is also prevented and further maintainability is considered. SOLUTION: The pressure feed apparatus comprises a container body having an inlet port of waste water from drain equipment and an outlet port for outflow of waste water, a pressure feed part, equipped in the container body, for pressure feeding waste water, a part for starting the operation of the pressure feed part, and a sensor which senses information on starting operation and transmits it to the part for starting the operation of the pressure feed part. Thus, the senor is free from contact with waste water which flows into the container body from the drain equipment and is stored therein, sticky slime impurities or the like contained in waste water is also free from adhering to the sensor, thus preventing the erroneous operation of the sensor.
