PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicament containing HGF (hepatocyte growth factor) gene. SOLUTION: This medicament, which contains the HGF gene, has the sustainability of therapeutic effect compared to the case with administration of HGF itself and can also be made to act in a locally selective manner, therefore enabling the side effects of the HGF to be reduced.
