The invention relates to a sealing assembly for prosthetic shafts, comprising at least one sealing lip that projects radially outwards, said lip, together with a support, defining an annular gap. The annular gap is ventilated by the external atmosphere, in such a way that a pressure gradient develops on the sealing lip, said gradient forcing the sealing lip against the prosthetic shaft by means of an increasing negative pressure.
